Ben Kaspar

Physical Therapist, DPT

My Story

Benjamin is a Hoosier by birth but a Virginian by choice. He earned Bachelors of Arts in philosophy and political science from Seattle Pacific University. His Spanish proficiency was improved while living in Honduras for one year (2011) and through immersive Spanish instruction in Mexico (2020). In 2018, he graduated with his doctor of physical therapy (DPT) from Texas Woman’s University where he participated in research pertaining to exercise for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Advanced training in Fascial Counterstrain, which is a gentle manual technique, expands Ben’s skill set to further help people recovering from a variety of issues including postural asymmetries, muscle imbalances, chronic pain and movement dysfunctions. As a member of the Vestibular Disorder Association (VeDA), he has completed comprehensive training to diagnose and treat vestibular-related conditions to help people struggling with dizziness, poor balance, headaches, and falls. He works well with a wide variety of people including athletes, the elderly, and people recovering from a surgery or injury. He is an advocate for health, wellness and prevention who values a holistic approach to healing. He enjoys spending quality outdoor time with his wife, Megan, and their two sons. He also enjoys dedicating his free time to slacklining, Xingyi Quan, and playing music.
